MCoC Works to Enhance Involvement of Persons with Lived Experience
The MCoC participated in HUD Technical Assistance on Partnering with People with Lived Experience of Homelessness. This three-month community workshop had a team of Manchester Continuum of Care members working toward building inclusive decision-making bodies, provide tangible strategies to connect with culturally responsive grassroots and community-based organizations, as well as people with lived expertise. This TA supported the MCoC in developing an action plan to continue to provide equitable engagement to amplify the voices of, and empower those most impacted, so our systems reflect the communities we serve.
